Patient involvement improves the quality of health technology assessment and helps bring about better decisions in health systems. This is the main conclusion of the International conference “10th anniversary of the Spanish Network of Health Technology Assessment Agencies. Towards patient and public engagement in HTA”, which during two days brought together a hundred of health professionals in the Institute of Health Sciences in Aragon (IACS).
